About This Station
The station is powered by a LaCrosse WS2310 weather station. However the Wind Speed is collected using an InSpeed Wind Senor. The data is collected every 5 seconds and the site is updated every 5 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station comprises of an anemometer, rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in the best optimal positions given my property for highest accuracy possible. The gauges are housed in a NWS compliant instrument shelter that I built myself using parts purchased at a local home improvement store. Please note I have had issue with the wind direction. Periodically I have experienced 'locks' in wind dirrection. When you see the same direction for an extended period of time, assume there is an equipment error. Please be patient as I work to resolve this issue.
